Occupational Therapy
What is Occupational Therapy?!
The primary goal of occupational therapy (whakaora ngangahau) is to enable people to participate in the activities (occupations) of everyday life. We can work with people of all ages and abilities with different focuses to help them get the best out of their lives.
Occupations are the activities and tasks of everyday life. These include things people do to look after themselves, to enjoy themselves, and to contribute to the social and economic fabric of their communities. Occupational therapy is the art and science of helping people take part in everyday living through their occupations.
Physiotherapy
What is Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy uses proven techniques to help restore movement and function to anyone affected by an injury, disability or health condition. It’s a therapy that can help you achieve movement for life.
A physiotherapist will use their in-depth knowledge of how the body works, combined with hands-on clinical skills, to assess, diagnose and treat your symptoms. They can even help you prevent many injuries and health conditions.
