Our Rights

Our goal is to ensure specialist advice and input is available for everyone, not only those with disabilities or recognised delays. In saying that we need to ensure that we are the right service to help and we reserve the right to decline services, and will advise of your other options if we feel we are not the best fit.

Your Rights

We appreciate all feedback, positive or what we can do better! Please do let us know if you have any concerns and we will do whatever we can to work through them with you.

You can expect complete confidentiality and that any records will be held securely on a health specific secure cloud based system. Your personal information will not be shared for any reason - other than when the law requires us or if you request us to. You are able to request copies of your information held on our system, requests will be fulfilled within one working week within keeping with regulations.

Note: Like all Health Professionals we are legally required to notify Oranga Tamariki, Ministry for Children, if we have concerns regarding a child's welfare.

If you have any concerns about our practice, you have the right to inform the Occupational Therapy Board or the Health and Disability Commission and request assistance.

Payment Options

Payment is due within 7 days of your appointment. We email an invoice to your designated email once you have had your appointment.

Note: No money is held on site, cash payment is not an option.

Monthly payment terms may be considered for schools or registered companies on pre-approval.

Cancellation Policy

All appointments are subject to this cancellation policy.

There is a 50% charge for appointments that are missed or cancelled less than 4 hours before the scheduled date/time. Any appointments that are missed without prior notification will be charged at 100% of the appointment cost.

We will endeavour to give you as much advance notice as possible in terms of holidays or of any need to cancel a future appointment.
